Why Your MLM Distributor Website Does Not Work
It's something that I see very frequently in the network marketing industry... new MLM distributors using their generic MLM distributor website to try to generate prospects for their business. After all, the company gave you the site... It must work, right?
Nope.
You will never see any results prospecting if you use your MLM distributor website.
Generic company websites simply don't work for several reasons.
1. MLM Distributor Websites Don't Market Well
First of all, most network marketing companies know a lot about how to run a MLM and network marketing, but they generally know very little about how to successfully market their company... especially on the internet.
Most MLM distributor websites are flashy, contain very little valuable information, and don't build trust with prospects.
Unfortunately, this is probably true for your company too.
If you're depending on your company to help you get great leads and prospects for your business, then you're in big trouble... It will never happen.
2. Everyone Has The Same Website
Secondly, your network marketing company provides the same generic website to ALL their distributors. That means that EVERYONE in your company is using the same MLM distributor website... how will a prospect recognize you from your competition?
They won't.
If there's no way to differentiate you from your competition, your chances of effectively gaining hot prospects and sponsoring them into your business is virtually non-existent.
Network marketing success depends on building rapport and credibility with prospects. It depends on branding and selling YOU... generic MLM distributor websites don't do that.
3. Distributor Sites Don't Capture Leads
Thirdly, a company provided MLM distributor website isn't really cut out to do the prospecting and lead capture for you. They don't have adequate autoresponders, they don't do lead capture, and they don't follow up with your prospects. That means that it's nearly impossible to gain any prospects for your business.
In the end, you'll be much better off if you develop your own website and lead capture system to market your network marketing business online. Even a simple blog will work better for you than your MLM distributor website.
