Getting Started In A Home Business Online
I talk to people all the time who are interested in starting their own business, especially an online home business, but they just don't know where to start. In fact, that's the number one question I'm usually asked, "How do I get started?"
People generally don't believe me when I tell them that it's really pretty simple... after all, if it took a rocket scientist I wouldn't be doing it.
Don't get me wrong... I said it was pretty simple to start an online business - I didn't say it was easy. It takes a lot of work and a fair amount of time to build an online business that earns a reasonable income and grows year after year, but the rewards are well-worth the effort... and anyone who is willing to get into it for the long haul can do it.
The first thing you need to do before you start reading any of the articles below is to download and READ the Online Business Startup Guide. This nuts and bolts guide will literally guide you through all the steps to building a successful online business. In addition, if you plan on using a content business model (which I highly recommend)... commonly called the infopreneur model... then you have to read the SBI! Action Guide. It provides a lot of free information for starting an information based online business that you won't get anywhere else!
Those are your first stops.
Once you've read the guide and actually started your business, you may find that you still have some questions... that's what this section of my website is all about. After all, it's really difficult to answer every possible online business startup question and scenario within the context of a beginner's guide (although I tried!).
In addition, I've tried to provide more information about how to start specific types of online businesses, like network marketing (MLM), infopreneur, blogging, etc. There are just too many possibilities for online business, and more becoming available all the time, to put them all in one guide.
